Sample motion for return of property

In August 2004, ASA launched its Return of Property campaign after finding that the unlawful seizure of medicine by police was a widespread problem across the state. This ongoing campaign assists patients in getting their medicine back by petitioning the courts. Not to be confused with a lawsuit for monetary damages, a motion for return of property is filed in the criminal division of your local Superior Court. ASA's campaign has resulted in numerous patients successfully getting their unlawfully seized medicine returned.
